This summer is full of camera gear acquisition:

new camera with M42 adapter, 2 new lens (wide Carl Zeiss Flektogon 20/2.8 - stays wide even on digital!, Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135/2.8 - magpies beware!), strap and set of light reflectors.

Focusing so difficult in such light, hot sun and with moving talkative person ;)

And also I’m not happy with the fact, that those photos I like, my model would not, and those which she would are blurry. Fix = pressing shutter all the time.

I had some ‘concept’ in mind, but I have rather given it up and tried to make simple 'scenes’. If some cliché has accidentally arisen, I’m the first one to be embarrassed, but I don’t care, as long as it stays in the process of learning.

What really makes me confident are galleries of many Slovak professional photographers with their natural studio portraits and celebrities sections. Shall look at them each time before shooting somebody.

I’m mostly satisfied with the last one, even thought the composition in the center isn’t ideal. But as long as it fits the eye, I don’t care about breaking any compositional rules.

I’m sick as hell in this ruthless hot weather. Five hours of sleep and morning sun burns my eyeballs out. Sun blindness with permanent headache interrupted by aspirin shots.

Ešte že pri rozprávkach nie je ohraničený horný vekový limit. Ten dolný (od 4 rokov) spĺňam :) Nemohla som odolať tým bambulatým chvostíkom a smutným obrázkom nešťastných zvieratiek.

Navyše čo si cením je normálny nedebilný text, ktorým často neoplývajú ani knižky pre staršie deti (až mládež).

Empty valley with < than 10 visitors from the beginning of this season. The path in tall grass didn’t exist at all, we were getting lost all the time. Quiet and almost creepy.
