Even now in December you can meet many people there who aren’t discouraged by the weather or the time of the day. Evening runners in the dark or early morning dog walkers in fog.
And only now have I realized how important this route is, how close to the city center while surrounded by (soon to be gone) remains of a forest, with a view on the other bank, lit by new buildings and sidewalks, and which is now more in the focus of developers.
I would have miss it.
